Blue Grill & Bar at the Eden Roc Beach Club, features cuisine inspired by the art of Robatayaki and Nikkei cooking techniques, a culinary fusion between Japanese and Peruvian Cuisine.

MONDAY, MAY 6


7am- 8:30am Breakfast at leisure
8:30am Departure to La Romana
10:00am – 12:00pm Cigar experience in Tabacalera de Garcia

Dedicated to the production of premium, handmade cigars, Tabacalera de Garcia S.A.S. is the world’s largest handmade cigar factory.

This facility is responsable for the production of such brands as Don Diego, Santa Damiana, Trinidad, Por Larranaga, Romeo y Julieta and the renowned H. Upmann and Montecristo labels, originally from Cuba and now manufactured in the Dominican Republic and sold in the United States.

12:30pm – 4:30pm Escape to Catalina Island with beach BBQ

Catalina Island or Isla Catalina is a tropical island located 1.5 miles from the mainland on the southeast corner of the Dominican Republic and is an occasional destination for cruise ships on Caribbean routes. The island itself is only 9.6 square km in size, and is a diverse preservation of eco-systems including sand dunes, mangroves and reefs. The seas around the island are Rich in wildlife, with many species of birds and tropical marine fish, and there are large áreas where natural sandbars offshore bring the depth to just a few feet. The island was baptized “Santa Catalina” by Christopher Columbus, who visited in May 1494.

Showcasing Mediterranean specialties, Eden Roc’s main restaurant, Mediterraneo is an elegant venue which showcases a journey of flavors and ingredients from Mediterranean cultures.

TUESDAY, MAY 7


7am- 8:30am Breakfast at leisure
8:30am Departure to San Pedro
10:00am – 1:00pm Visit to rum fields and factory. Guided by Maestro Romero Luis Beltre

Veleiro Dorado, Dorado Blanco, Mamajuana Spiced and Anejo rums are produced from the best sugar cane molasses harmonized by their passage through once-used bourbon oak barrels, creating deep rich flavors that are perfect for drinking on the rocks or combined. The Ron Veleiro factory is still family-run and features a traditional artisanl production technique.

2.30pm Lunch on the beach followed by afternoon at leisure and Champagne bar
8:00 pm – 10:00pm Farewell Beach BBQ dinner with live DJ
11:00pm Optional outing in Coco Bongo

Coco Bongo is one of the most famous nightspots in the DR, with over 40 performers enacting scenes from famous movies
