Teaming up with Resort Executive Chef Hernan Griccini, the Two Chefs will Offer a Memorable Five-Course Dining Experience on October 18, 2014
PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – August 14, 2014 – This October, Eden Roc at Cap Cana will host Michelin starred and Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef Michel Rostang for an exceptional culinary evening as one of the 120 celebrations Relais & Chateaux’s is hosting around the globe for its 60th anniversary.
On Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the resort’s signature restaurant Mediterraneo, newly appointed resort Executive Chef Hernan Griccini together with Chef Michel Rostang of Paris’ legendary 2-Michelin starred Restaurant Michel Rostang will present a five-course menu inspired by “Le Belle Époque.” While the menu will be a surprise until that evening, guests will be transported back to the beautiful age with special decorations indicative of the era and live music playing throughout the dinner from a pianist and violinist. The dinner is open to all resort and non-resort guests. Seats for the evening are $290 per person and include wine pairings, tax and gratuity. Throughout the following week at Mediterraneo (October 19-26), guests may also enjoy a special three-course menu influenced by Chef Michel Rostang’s culinary legacy prepared by resort Chef Hernan Griccini and Mediterraneo Chef de Cuisine Jerome Bondaz. The menu is $115, inclusive of tax and gratuity.
In addition to the one-night celebration, travelers are invited to book the Relais & Chateaux 60th Anniversary package to fully experience Eden Roc at Cap Cana. The package, based on double occupancy, includes a three-night stay, two seats at the dinner, in-suite welcome amenities, such as a bottle of bubbles, as well as services that are offered for every room booking at the resort: round-trip airport transfers to/from Punta Cana International airport, use of an electric golf-cart, access to the Caletón Beach Club and complimentary wi-fi throughout the resort.
