Since opening in December 2012, Eden Roc at Cap Cana has accomplished many major milestones. First was the opening of its signature restaurant Mediterraneo helmed by Executive Chef Gianluca Re Fraschini in February 2013, which offers guests flavors from the Mediterranean through imported artisanal European ingredients blended with local Caribbean elements. The grand opening of Riva Bar occurred in May 2013 and features classic cocktails and ones with a Caribbean twist in a setting influenced by the Riva Aquarama pleasure boat that was the symbol of glamour in 1960s Monte Carlo.
