Greetings from Eden Roc at Cap Cana,

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers throughout this historic Hurricane Season.

We are pleased to share that Eden Roc at Cap Cana, Punta Cana and, most importantly, our families and dedicated staff are safe after the passing of Hurricane Maria this Thursday. With the storm passing 95 miles (150km) north of Punta Cana, we received heavy rain and high winds. We are grateful to report no major damage to our infrastructure. We will resume regular operations at Eden Roc at Cap Cana this weekend.

Hurricane Maria was carrying sustained winds of up to 115 miles per hour (185 km per hour) as it moved away from the Dominican Republic on a path projected to reach Turks and Caicos and the southeastern tip of the Bahamas on Thursday night and Friday morning, as reported by the National Hurricane Center in its latest public advisory. Hurricane and tropical storm conditions are expected to continue across portions of the Dominican Republic.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to our friends in Puerto Rico and in the neighboring Caribbean Islands that have been impacted by the recent hurricanes. We continue to pray for a peaceful rest of the season.

Thank you all for your continued support and partnership.

Best regards,
