Dominican Republic
With direct flights from most major East Coast and many Midwestern cities, this tropical paradise wins bonus points for how easy it is to get there. And of course, once you arrive, the pristine beaches and 18 national parks will make leaving the island a tall order. We recommend staying in Punta Cana, at the easternmost tip of the country. The beaches here are especially stunning, and the airport is less than 20 minutes away. Our favorite property for a ladies’-only vacation? The high-touch boutique hotel Eden Roc Cap Cana, where many suites boast their own private pool, and the delicious food is some of the best in the Caribbean.
