Renowned Chef and owner of the Michelin Starred Restaurant Manresa 

The Caribbean’s most prized boutique hotel, Eden Roc Cap Cana, will be initiating their Culinary Event series elevating their dining experience with the best chef’s era and merging culinary flavors from corners of the world. 

In addition to the ongoing culinary events with Chef David Kinch, Eden Roc Cap Cana will also collaborate with him to create unique dishes that blend his farm-to-table cuisine with the flavors of the Caribbean. Working alongside Chef Adriano Venturini, the resort’s executive chef, Chef Kinch will use locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that showcase the best of both worlds. Guests can look forward to experiencing innovative and delicious combinations that highlight the freshness and flavors of the Caribbean, combined with Chef Kinch’s culinary expertise. Chef Kinch will be hosting a special meet and greet for our guests during his visit, where they can chat with him and learn more about his culinary philosophy and inspiration.

Guests can expect a tantalizing array of welcome cocktails and delectable dishes served in different unique food stations as the Eden Roc team welcomes guests and members of the Eden Roc community. This exquisite culinary experience is the welcome of Grand Chef David Kinch and the beginning of a delicious journey.

A unique meet and greet with the chef will be held at Riva Bar, where Star Chef David Kinch and the Hotel Management will be hosting a small Questions & Answers session. As a particular part of the occasion, the Eden Roc team will ask ten questions about their history, growth, and achievements.

After the meet & greet, Eden Roc Cap Cana throws a California-style party in honor of Chef Kinch. At California: Surf’s Up, the signatures of La Palapa will be accompanied by unique dishes and cocktails that will transport guests to the sunny beaches of California, honoring David Kinch’s unique style and approach to cooking.

About Chef David Kinch:

David Kinch, the internationally recognized chef known for his exceptional restaurant Manresa, forged a distinctive culinary path putting him at the forefront of contemporary California cuisine. Over two decades, Manresa received extensive accolades before closing its doors at the end of 2022. Highlights include three Michelin stars for seven consecutive years, a Five Star Forbes Travel Award, and membership in prestigious organizations such as Relais & Chateaux and Les Grande Tables du Monde. In addition to Manresa, Kinch has cultivated other successful culinary projects that continue today, including Manresa Bread, The Bywater, and his newest restaurant, Mentone.

Kinch is consistently recognized locally, nationally, and globally, including his international peers voting him into the Top 25 of the World’s Best Chefs 2020 via Le Chef Magazine.

Kinch won an Emmy for his role on the PBS series “The Mind of a Chef.” His first cookbook, “Manresa: An Edible Reflection” landed on the New York Times “Best Sellers List” in 2013, and his second cookbook “At Home in the Kitchen: Simple Recipes from a Chef’s Night Off,” debuted in March 2021.
